چکیده
Due to the non-linear ionizing and heating processes, 21-cm signals from epoch of reionization (EoR) are expected have strong non-Gaussian fluctuations. In this paper, we use semi-numerical simulations study statistics i.e. skew spectrum smoothed skewness EoR. We find similar evolution features with bispectrum. All them sensitive EoR models, while not too much cosmic volume applied. With SKA1-low telescope as reference, both higher S/N ratios than

Primordial non-Gaussianity from the 21 cm power spectrum during the epoch of reionization.
Primordial non-Gaussianity is a crucial test of inflationary cosmology. We consider the impact of non-Gaussianity on the ionization power spectrum from 21 cm emission at the epoch of reionization. We focus on the power spectrum on large scales at redshifts of 7 to 8 and explore the expected constraint on the local non-Gaussianity parameter f(NL) for current and next-generation 21 cm experiments...
متن کاملThe multi - frequency angular power spectrum of the epoch of reionization 21 cm signal
Observations of redshifted 21cm radiation from neutral hydrogen (HI) at high redshifts is an important future probe of reionization. We consider the Multi-frequency Angular Power Spectrum (MAPS) to quantify the statistics of the HI signal as a joint function of the angular multipole l and frequency separation ∆ν. The signal at two different frequencies is expected to get decorrelated as ∆ν is i...
متن کاملModification of the 21-cm power spectrum by X-rays during the epoch of reionization
We incorporate a contribution to reionization from X-rays within analytic and semi-numerical simulations of the 21-cm signal arising from neutral hydrogen during the epoch of reionization. The relatively long X-ray mean free path (MFP) means that ionizations due to X-rays are not subject to the same density bias as UV ionizations, resulting in a substantive modification to the statistics of the...
متن کاملThe Theory and Simulation of the 21-cm Background from the Epoch of Reionization
The redshifted 21-cm line of distant neutral H atoms provides a probe of the cosmic “dark ages” and the epoch of reionization (“EOR”) which ended them, within the first billion years of cosmic time. The radio continuum produced by this redshifted line can be seen in absorption or emission against the cosmic microwave background (“CMB”) at meterwaves, yielding information about the thermal and i...
متن کاملStatistical features of 21-cm emission from the epoch between reionization and Gunn-Peterson transparency
We investigate the 21-cm emission from the epoch between reionization zr and Gunn-Peterson transparency zgp. According to the lognormal model of the thermal history around reionization, hydrogen clouds in zr > z > zgp are hot, and a predominant part of baryonic gas is ionized, but still opaque to Lyα photons. Therefore, 21-cm emission is a distinctive characteristic of this epoch. We show that ...
